Treatment for a family member

Recently one of my children had an unforeseen incident on a school trip and needed follow up investigations done as quickly as possible. The NHS route could of taken months and as a family we needed the reassurance as soon as possible.

I joined Tricare (now Bluline) when it started in 1997. My family were my motivation in joining as I wanted medical treatment provided within a timely manner.

Most recently one of my children had an unforeseen incident on a school trip and needed follow up investigations done as quickly as possible to find out what caused the issue in the first place. The NHS route could of taken months and as a family we needed the reassurance as soon as possible.

I found the staff at Tricare absolutely fantastic and very empathetic & they helped me to achieve what I needed to at what was a very worrying time.

Tricare provide peace of mind that your family are going to be given medical care or intervention if required. It is fabulous value for money as you cannot put a price on what they have done for my family.

I would recommend the scheme to anyone as I have received really good care. I feel a medical problem is stressful enough on its own but if you take away the uncertainty of how quickly you are going to be treated then you will have made the problem slightly less burdensome.
